FAVORITE Album PLAYED Alive

Excellent concert last night. I am non a huge Embankment Boys fan, but Pet Sounds is one of my favorite albums and I really looked forward to hearing information technology played live. The 12 person band did non permit me down. It was nifty to hear personal favorites "God Only Knows", "Don't Talk" and "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times". One other bonus – Blondie Chaplin's guitar solo on "Wild Love"! The girls, surf and cars songs were nostalgic favs and well done. And of course… "Skillful Vibrations"! Thanks Hanover Theater...

BRIAN WILSON WITH MATT GARDENE (THE VOICE OF THIS CONCERT)

Brian Wilson'south band had an splendid performance at the Stranahan final nighttime. HIs vocals were limited, though necessary to provide the BB harmony. The a'ccoustics at the Stranahan are much-improved or the Bulletin board system brought that stellar sound system to provide a groovy venue. The central player was singer Matt Gardene. His falsetto voice emulated the Mike Honey component for the near memorable BB songs. The concert was not-stop with a short pause. A number of the songs weren't well-known BB melodies, however, the xi-piece band was exceptional. The eclectic audience really enjoyed the reflective 60'south sounds. Sorry to run across Mr. Wilson having help leaving and entering the stage, only his phrasing and harmonic sounds with other stronger voices is what the distinct audio of the BB is all about. It is unfortunate that the split with Mike Dear eliminates a needed vocalisation. Though not a Honey-fan, it is apparent without the young Gardene the distinct BB harmony would be void of what we recollect from the 60s

BRIAN WILSON ROCKED!

I almost cried when I saw this living legend! Never ever thought I would get the opportunity to hear the Beach Boys music played live. All the artists were amazing and reproduced the music to perfection. I am not equally familiar every bit I'd similar with the Pet Sounds album, but the genius of the songs was absolutely enthralling. From the opening number to the finish it was a totally awesome experience!

THANK YOU BRIAN

Last night's concert was outstanding. I saw Brian's tour twice last twelvemonth and both concerts were excellent. His April 21 show in Columbus had Brian and his astonishing orchestra at their best. Brian's vocals were better than I heard in last year's tourmand he appeared to take equally much fun as the audience. The gentle genius of music deserved every standing ovation !

WATCHING A LIVING LEGEND LIVE

I purchased a VIP packet to watch Brian perform live, & for a encounter & greet before the show. For a professional he did perform at the all-time of his ability, and agree to take photos with his fans. Although you can tell that he was in some discomfort due to his back surgery and the busy touring schedule, he smiled for photos and performed on cue. The Palladium is a beautiful facility and the staff couldn't have been any nicer. I'm proud that Brian has been a continuous touring musician for the final 20 years. And I would be thrilled to encounter Brian once more in concert. Although at 76 years old it may exist benign he tedious downwardly just a little scrap.

SO GREAT

What a great evening seeing a living legend.

MANY MEMORIES RELIVED

The genius of Brian Wilson is indisputable. The audience responded to his rightful place in Stone history with a standing ovation at the beginning, and fifty-fifty longer standing ovation at the end. God bless you Brian Wilson! Your music is forever imbedded in our memories.

BRIAN WILSON AT OAKDALE - WALLINGFORD, CT

Fourth Row seats and a groovy show for all ages. Aye, Brian Wilson is older now but he has put together a great band and Al Jardine still has a nice voice. The man is a legend and I thank Mr. Wilson for all his wonderful contributions to music. People who await somebody who is in his mid seventies and just had back surgery to exist spry and chipper simply aren't realistic. I'll have listening to Brian Wilson any fashion I tin can become him. Give thanks yous to Mr. Wilson for not cancelling the concert. We would have been disappointed.

Thanks FOR PET SOUNDS!

The best word I can find for last dark's show is love. What wonderful musicians all embracing the moments of playing ane of the greatest pieces of musical history. And having a fine time doing it! Brian did well and showed humor as well every bit a great dear for his ain music..it was credible on his face. Al Jardine, his son matt(who truly vocalized as only Brian could do)and Billy showed a family of musical heritage for united states of america all,and the band?Ane of the best professional sets e'er. It sounded exactly similar the Wrecking Crew was upwards at that place but at times fifty-fifty fresher. Not to exist a spoiler only I take to say a few of the earlier songs done were a shock to me.I never expected such a fun and loving night of music as that was. I hope all of you who take non been able to get to a bear witness manage to run across this and hear its brilliance. If it is to be the last ever pet Sounds performance, then it was truly worth it. Calculation Blondie Chapin, I doubt I will experience annihilation that practiced again. Thank you Pet Sounds .

SAD CONCERT

My wife and I were too at the concert in Kansas City's Kaufmann and agree with the other review. They helped him on stage, placed him at a piano and he basically saturday there the whole time. It was sad to come across. They also basically kept the lighting off of him and basically the ring sang around or over him. A couple of years ago we went to the other Embankment Boys group and thoroughly enjoyed information technology. For the price of the tickets this concert was a sham. Other venues should remember twice about scheduling this .

BRIAN WISON: BURTON CUMMINGS THEATRE APRIL 15, 2O17

Listening to Brian Wilson's concert, from a musicians point of view, was a rare artistic treat. The quality and level of musicianship was outstanding, and the backing musicians' ability to indistinguishable the Beach Boys vocals was phenomenal. Brian's vocal ability has long deserted him, and he struggled when called upon to sing; yet, thankfully the existent heavy lifting in the vocal section was left to the rest of the band. The only weak spot in the concert was, in my stance, the inclusion of Pet Sounds tracks. Although they were well performed, the Pet Sounds anthology generally falls far curt of the brilliance of Brian's hitting tunes, like Good Vibrations.

TRIBUTE CONCERT TO BRIAN WILSON, BUT HE WAS THERE...

Possibly I am non a defended Brian Wilson fan and therefore did not know what to expect, merely I am knowledgeable of what Wilson has meant to American music and of an age that I first listened to Beach Boys in the 60's. But this concert was one of the worse I have been to. And at $100 a pop, peradventure THE worse. Brian sang peradventure five songs and struggled to do so. The lighting coiffure kept the lights on anybody else and placed Brian in the shadows. It was a scam. I came to hear Brian, not watch an ill human being/fable sit at the piano disengaged from all around him. And non playing or singing

BRAIN WILSON Finish TOURING!

Went to the Oakdale last night and left later on 4 songs and $300 dollars out the window. He sits in forepart of a fake piano and bearly sings a song. I oasis't been ripped off similar that e'er. If you call back information technology good, you didn't accept very close seats to come across what I witnessed. They are treating his body like a prop and calling information technology a Brian Wilson concert. Brian, you did groovy things once. This isn't how you lot want you success to cease. Stay habitation slap-up one.

THE GREAT BRIAN WILSON

An amazing concert. The musical arrangements were so beautiful and each song flowed one after the other. The musicians were exceptional every bit were fill-in singers. I loved every infinitesimal.

Sorry BRIAN

Music was half-dozen of five stars. Vocal was unmarried star. Smiled with music open like it was mid "60s. Smile came off with beginning vocal. Brian, God beloved y'all. Probably best to let some one else sing.

Delight STOP TOURING

Friends invited the states to this event. I was really hoping that the Bloom Festival Orchestra was going to play Brian's nuance songs with Brian contributing from the keyboards. I was sadly to disappointed to hear Brian trying to sing (when he could recall the lyrics). Although most of the harmonies at this issue were decent, about all of solo singing was awful. I was too disappointed that a lot of unknown music was selected as opposed to Brian'southward potent volume of tunes

BRIAN WILSON"S PET SOUNDS/A LIVING LEGEND

Brian Wilson's band had an excellent performance at the Flower Music Eye concluding night. HIs vocals were express, though necessary to provide the Beach Male child"s harmony for the wonderful "Pet Sounds Album". The a'ccoustics at Flower are wonderful and band brought that stellar sound organization to provide a great venue. The central actor was singer Matt Gardene. His falsetto vocalization was the principal component for the nearly memorable Brain Wilson/Beach Boys songs. The concert was non-finish with a short pause. A number of the songs were well-known from the "Pet Sounds Album", and the Cleveland Orchestra was exceptional. The eclectic audience really enjoyed the reflective sixty's sounds. Sad to see Brian having aid leaving and inbound the phase, just his phrasing and harmonic sounds with other stronger voices is what the singled-out audio of the Embankment Boys is all about. It is apparent without the young Gardene the distinct Brian Wilson/Embankment Boys harmony would be void of what I remember from the 60s. I likewise enjoyed the Blondie Chaplin'due south solo on "Wild Honey"! I am very happy I did not miss this Cleveland Orchestra/Brian Wilson-Pet Sounds l years concert.

Bloodshot

Brian had to cancel 12 concerts due to ill wellness. His Blossom concert was his 2nd since those cancellations. The show must go on, then they say. He had contracts to honor, and I'm sure his bandmates are depending on these concerts for their livelihoods. But he was clearly struggling, forgetting words, barely getting them out. He was conspicuously not set to exist on phase. Merely he is a behemothic legend of 60s rock. His band did their best to back up him. Once "Pet Sounds" was over, they did their onetime favorites from their beach days and the crowd had a good time. But Brian was pain, and it was and so axiomatic. He has been in that location for usa for then many years--"In My Room," "Adept Vibrations," "Wouldn't It Be Nice?" At Blossom, we paid tribute to him.

PET SOUNDS BRIAN WILSON

Sad to run into,Brian Wilson needs to stop touring .The residue of the band did their best to cover for him.He barely sings, yawning through many songs.Do non waste your money on a Brian Wilson tour. The legend needs to give it up.

BRIAN WILSON PET SOUNDS AT ROSE MUSIC CENTER.HUBER HEIGHTS OHIO

Pathetic to run into a fable like Brian Wilson propped behind a pianoforte .He lost his great vocalism ,mumbled, stumbled through songs, the few he sang. This concert should not continue it is an embarrassment to Brian Wilson. The legend needs to bow out gracefully.Do non waste your coin.

2.0 star rating Mike from Cuyahoga Falls (Blossom Music Center)

Cease TOURING. JUST COME OUT AND Moving ridge

He may exist a musical genius, but I would rather run into him go out on elevation. The pianoforte is gear up with him looking at the crowd. He started off and we instantly began to question whether he was playing the keyboards or just propped up. When he sang we all looked at each other and wondered if he had a stroke. My buddy said it was like he just got a bunch of Novocain and his oral cavity was numb. The rest of the band and singing was great, only don't go to hear Brian.

VERY SAD

Saw the Brian Wilson bout at the Joint in Las Vegas. Brian Wilson is a universally acknowledged musical genius, but he should not be touring. His vocals were massively off key and delivered virtually in a monotone. His bandmates did their all-time to cover and had fantastic soaring harmonies. Brian however, was literally only a prop they put out front. One-half the time he looked completely spaced out and unaware of what was going on around him. It was sad to see and significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the concert. This type of performance can just injure his legacy – his band needs to starting time conveying on without him.

SO SAD!

I was so looking frontward to seeing 1 of my favorites of all time. So deplorable to see him just sitting at the piano. Very little singing or playing. Kind of just seemed propped up there. He didn't speak to the audience. Seemed similar a tribute band, with him there. Time to retire, blessings to you My Friend ❤️

BRIAN WILSON & THE ZOMBIES AT THE GREEK

My wife and I saw The Zombies and Brian Wilson and Friends at The Greek concluding night. Simply put, it was an evening of existence in the presence of musical genius. It does non matter if all the notes and harmonies did not e'er audio like they did in 1968- Both sets were pure and honest attempts to play their music and have joy in doing so. A night to remember and be grateful for as there was no pretense from the stage- just skilful old stone and roll. Warren/Ventura, Ca

BRIAN WILSON AT THE Fob OAKLAND

We had to get out. Painful to watch. Wilson was there in torso merely, propped upwardly backside a imitation piano. It was sad. Al Jardine's son was good roofing the high notes. But for nigh of the concert, yous wanted to await away.

DAD TO Meet

We left early on. It was very lamentable to see him propped up in front of the pianoforte. He looked like a statue. His vocals were so off and a couple of times he came in belatedly because he forgot the words. I found information technology painful to scout him then we had to leave. Likewise I don't think it was a skilful idea to practise so many songs that weren't very pop. I've always loved the BB merely I'd rather remember them the fashion they were.

GOD Only KNOWS...

...what we'd be without you Brian. THANK Yous for the music yous've brought to my life and many others. And a Thanks for keeping it going....the show was Not bad!

Not bad IN PARTS

Was then looking forrard to seeing the genius who is Brian Wilson coupled with the Zombies. Colin Blunstone'due south vox is still amazing and the band were on peachy form but the audio mix was and then off, bass heavy and so unbalanced. It was heartbreaking to see Brian shuffling on phase and non really existence up to the singing forgetting the words and looking vacant. The band had his dorsum of class but information technology was and so sorry. Very difficult as us fans would have been so sad if the show had been cancelled but should information technology have happened? Thank goodness for Darian Sahanaja, Al Jardine and his son and the remainder could have done without the guest guitarist though since when was 'Canvass on Sailor' a rock canticle?

BRIAN WILSON: GREATEST HITS Live! WITH AL JARDINE & BLONDIE CHAPMAN

The concert or the opening date was very adept, Brian, Al, Blondie, Matt, the unabridged band in great form. The venue is fantabulous and is designed as a concert hall, probably one off the best I've ever been to for such music. Brian was in good shape, did many of his greats, and had able support from his band mates, Al and Blondie for songs they were noted for. I'd recommend this venue for any band or performance. Nosotros were in the Loge level and the view and sound was great even upwardly a chip.
